I am currently using the desk numbering feature to auto number choir booklets (1-100). Is there a way to have them print from the last number to the first? E.g. so the bottom booklet is numbered 100 and the top is 1. Right now it is printing booklet 1 first.
Is there a feature which lets you do this? Kind of like Photoshops 'open in reverse' feature.
Thank you
This is a great question, and the answer is 'no not currently', but this shouldn't be too hard to add. I was honestly confused it hadn't come up before until my wife pointed out that most multi function printers output booklets face down - resulting in the correct order.
3 options
1. - a general setting that does this globally
2. - a setting per format print configuration
3. - a setting on default print settings for each section and then a checkbox on each file you are printing
Interested to know your thoughts on these!
@support Those all sound like good solutions to me. To me a global setting would make sense. But that might mess up other peoples use of the software. So 2 or 3 may be the safest bet? (Even if it's printing orchestra parts I would think it is generally preferred to print from bottom up if we are talking batch printing jobs) as in if there are 20 files, it should print file 20 first (lets says perc parts) then go in sequence until file 1 (flute 1). Or in my case of these choir books printing printing book 100 first and ending with book 1. Looking forward to hearing more.
Ah! So this feels like two separate things:
1. printing multiple copies of the same file in reverse numbered order
2. printing a set of files (e.g. Wind Brass and Percussion) in reverse order
2. is definitely a global setting
1. I'll have a think about which approach I prefer
